The Pause

Monday, October 5th – Friday, October 9th

The 5-day experience to find out exactly how to get back the time and money that's leaking in your role, your team, and your systems.

You'll get clear on exactly where your business is leaking, with one action step a day that moves you 1% forward. So you can scale without being in every decision. So you can build a business that doesn't need you on 24/7.

Faith Morris

Your Operational Infrastructure is made up of 3 areas

Most founders don't need another strategy. You've got strategies coming out of your ears. What you don't have is a clear line between the work only you can do and the work you've just never handed off.

Your Role

The life you want, the business that serves it, and your actual role in both.

Your Team

Right people, right seats. Who's next, and when.

Your Systems

What is the backend like holding it altogether.

My clients and I have scaled our businesses by adding team members, taking more vacation time, increasing revenue, and getting back into the parts of the business they love because they were able to define these areas in their business. If this sounds like something you want, keep reading.

And remember, high-functioning does not mean high-efficiency. You've proven you can hold it all, but this week you don't have to.

Stepped back from holding every process together
“Faith interviewed both of my team members and then presented all of the blocks and gaps in my business. It blew my mind. My lead editor moved into oversight, new client onboarding is systemised, and I finally know how to hire without shutting the business down. My biggest win is me stepping back AND AWAY from being the one holding every process together.”

The Pause is a mini mind for online service providers with teams of 1-5 people ready to scale, either by building a team or getting ready to hire one in the next 90 days.

This is for you if…

You're holding the whole business in your head.

If you went offline for a week, there would be many fires. That's why the idea of a vacation without your laptop gives you a low-grade panic attack. Every process, every login, every “the way we do it” lives in your brain.

You hired and you're still drowning.

You brought someone on. They're great! Or maybe not as great as you thought. But you're still answering every question. Still the last stop before anything goes out the door.

You know it's messy and can't find the fix.

You've tried. You bought the course, rebuilt the Notion, blocked the Monday for your CEO day. It works for two weeks and then you're back. You're too far inside it to see it, you're guessing at what to fix first.

You cannot scale a business without PAUSING to evaluate what you already have. In these 5 days you'll be led to intentionally pause and reflect on your role, your team, and your systems.

After the week together:

  • You can name the work that's actually yours to hold, and the life it's supposed to be serving.
  • The “only I can do this” list is shorter. Not because you hired someone. Because you finally looked at it honestly.
  • You know who's on your team, who's next, and what has to be true before you bring them on.
  • You know which tools are load-bearing and which ones you may not need.

You've hit the point where you want to grow but have no idea how inside your current setup.

You've never actually been asked what your vision for your life and your business is, so you have no idea how to shape a business around it.

So you do what everyone does:

You hired help. And you handed off tasks with no plan behind them, because you didn't have time to hand off well. Now you're managing someone and doing the work.
You bought the tool. The new CRM, the template, the automation someone swore by. Six weeks later it's sitting there, doing nothing for you.
You tried to figure it out on your own. At 9pm. Inside the same brain that built the mess. Which is exactly why you can't see it.
You don't need more ideas. You need a plan. And you can't build the plan when you are so deep in it yourself.

Inside The Pause, I walk you through the 5 D's of my Fingerprints Framework:

Here's what I'll help you do:

Monday: Direction. The life you want, the business that serves it, and your role in both. You leave knowing the vision of what you want inside and outside of business.
Tuesday: Define. The tasks only you can do and only the tasks you want to do. You leave with an honest list of what's actually yours to hold and what you've just never let go of.
Wednesday: Distribute. Right people, right seats. You leave knowing who owns what, where everything still routes back to you, and who you need next.
Thursday: Declutter. Cut the tech you don't need. Document what only lives in your head. You leave with the three things that'd break if you went offline, and a start on getting them out of your brain.
Friday: Decide. Bring me the thing you kept circling. We go live. You bring the one thing from this week you couldn't get clean, and you leave with a decision on it.

Then we close with one live 60-minute call. Hot seats and real coaching on your personal experience.

Hey, I'm Faith!

An operations and business strategist.

I'm obsessed with helping you see how your business actually operates when you're not in the room, and fixing the gaps that keep you doing the job of five people.

This isn't my first rodeo. OK, it's more like my third.

I spent 8 years in Aged Care and Disability Coordination, managing $1M budgets, navigating government red tape, and putting out fires before I'd had my morning coffee. I learned how to lead under pressure, build trust quickly, and create systems that actually work for real people, not just on paper.

Then I co-ran a stonemasonry business with my husband, where I did literally everything except lay the stone. From client management to quoting to backend systems, I built the operations that took us from scrappy startup to fully booked four months out, within a year and a half.

Over the last two years, I've helped my clients get clear on the vision of their business, life, and team all at once, while making more money.

Scaling well is a long game. And I live for the long game.

Everything you get when you join.

When you join, you're in a private resource hub for five days: one short teaching, one question, and a room full of colleagues doing the same thing.

  • A private resource hub, “The F.M Room”: Hello my new custom LMS. Everything lives in one place during the 5 days.
  • A daily video drop, Mon–Fri: One video from me each morning. (No more than 10 minutes, I promise!)
  • The Pause, daily: One focused question with a resource attached, to make you pause as well as challenge you.
  • Daily engagement in the F.M Room: You post the answer to the daily prompt, you read everyone else’s, and you start seeing your peers’ patterns.
  • One live 60-minute group call: Live hot seat coaching at the end of the week. Bring the question you’ve been avoiding and we work it out loud together.
  • BONUS: A personal voice note from me: If you complete all five days, I’ll send you a personalized voice note based on your current infrastructure. You get my brain in your business. Something normally reserved for my one-to-one clients. You’re going to walk away with a tangible next step.

  • An honest list of what you genuinely want to hold inside your business. And what you’ve just never handed off because you’re a control freak.
  • Your team on paper. Who owns what, where things still come back to you, and who you need next (with a rough sequence).
  • Tools to evaluate your operations, so when things get muddy, you know exactly how to reflect.
Daniela Karpenos
“I spent the entire year trying to grow into a new direction and couldn't move the needle, not because I lacked ambition, but because I had no systems, no structure, and no support. She identified exactly where my bottlenecks were. Mapped out my next hires and the sequence to approach them. I now have a full playbook for the year. It didn't just help me get organized. It changed the trajectory of my business.”

FAQ

Questions you're already asking.

I’ve done challenges before and nothing changed. Why is this different?

This is not a challenge. We’re pausing and reflecting, which 99% of ops people never tell you to do when you’re overwhelmed and trying to grow. If you feel zero change in yourself by the end of the week, email me and get your money back.

I don’t have time for another thing this week.

That’s the actual problem we’re solving. You’ve got no time because you never give time to the boring stuff in your business that actually makes it move forward (even at a snail’s pace). I promise you won’t regret making the time, 10–30 minutes a day, for 5 days.

I’m too messy right now. Shouldn’t I get organized first?

No. You can’t organize what you can’t see, and you’re too far inside it to see it. That’s what the week is for. Come as you are.

Do I have lifetime access to the videos?

Yes. You’ll have access to all the videos inside the curriculum once the week is over, but not the community thread.

I already have a team or a VA. Is this still for me?

Especially then. Your team is a vital part of how you reflect on the future of your business.

What if I can’t make the Friday call live?

The call is Friday, Oct 9th at 10am EST. It’s recorded, so you’ll get the replay, but the hot seats are worth showing up live for.

And if you're still unsure…

Know this: this is the first step. These five days will show you why your fingerprints are all over everything, and where the actual gaps are. You can't fix what you can't see, and you've been too far inside it to see it clearly.

My goal is that you finish Friday genuinely excited. Not overwhelmed by a longer to-do list. Excited, because for the first time you've got a clear picture of what's actually going on in your business.

From the clients I've worked with, I know I do this differently than most. I don't just look at your systems. I look at the whole thing: your team, your role, your capacity, how you actually operate.

And if you're hesitating, I'd bet it's not the money. It's that you've tried things before and they didn't work, and you don't want to do that again. Fair enough.

But there's a version of this where you're excited about your business again. Where it doesn't all live in your head. Where you can go offline for a week and nothing catches fire.

This is the first step toward that one.
